God's hand

* In October '05 while we waited for Y's referral from China, I went to the New Day website and prayed that each of the children would find their forever family.

* This past October (06) I read a post on the waiting child China list about a 3 year old boy that needed a family, he was listed with WACAP. When we received his information I knew he was our son but DH needed more time, he couldn't see how we could afford another adoption and we don't have the space ( he was right about the money, we had only been home 8 months - I had no answer only faith but I did convince him that 3 could sleep in 10 X 10 room if we had a set of bunk beds).

* We prayed about it and we soon both knew that Z was our son. We requested that WACAP put a hold on his file, while we finished up the paper work. I asked on the Luoyang Yahoo list if anyone was going to the orphanage and if they could please get a current picture of Z, his referral picture was when he was 18 months old and he was now over 3.

* We heard back from the family at the orphanage that Z was in foster care. Later that day we received an email from Mike the director of the New Day Foster Home Luoyang branch that Z might be in New Day Luoyang foster care.

*Z is listed as Jacob; our son is one of the children that I had prayed to find their forever family the year before.

God's world is small and God's timing is always right
